We love Trustpilot – not just because we’ve had twenty-seven five-star reviews – but because it’s a platform I have used myself when searching for businesses to supply goods and services.
It works because it compiles real reviews from real people. As the platform itself says “Built on honesty and transparency, Trustpilot is the people’s choice for reviews.” And we can’t argue with that.
During the health crisis we have all endured over the past year and a half the world as we know it has (hopefully only temporarily) changed. There has been a surge in demand for Marquees for all manner of reasons. The hospitality industry, that has been battered by the pandemic, have been desperately seeking solutions in better utilising outdoor spaces. Couples eager to begin their lives together have been looking for covid compliant venues to get married. Industry and commercial properties have been looking to extend beyond their entrances for covid test points. Pop up surge testing centres have been another demand on the supply of Marquees that could not have been predicted.
There are a number of companies that have been working hard to satisfy this need, we know we’re not the only supplier out there, but we have a real desire to rank amongst the best.
We use Trustpilot not only to attract new business but as a continuous litmus test of how well we are performing. Are our customers pleased with out products? Are they happy with the customer experience when ordering, the delivery process, the quality of the tents themselves and after sales care? Was our click and collect efficient and friendly? As important as any other aspect of course, do we represent good value for money? All are important building blocks to make UK Tents the go to retailer for customers to choose when making the investment.

- Shell acknowledged how we came to the rescue when a rival let them down – considering why they needed the Marquee, we certainly made sure we were there to support the family during a tough time and not add to the stress or grief! We were not going to let them down! Even if that meant working through the Bank Holiday (at no extra charge of course) “We were let down last minute by another company and we required a marquee for our family members funeral. After going on a frantic hunt I found the UK tent site but the delivery stated would not get the marquee to us on time. I called the number on the site and spoke with Dan who assured me he could provide exactly what we needed and for it to be delivered in time for the funeral. I called on a bank holiday weekend evening and my marquee arrived as promised on bank holiday Monday! He kept in touch via texts reassuring me it was on its way as I was extremely worried we would have nowhere for the guests to attend. The driver also contacted myself to let me know he was on his way and what time he would arrive.
The marquee was great quality and looked perfect for the event. It was easy to assemble and take down.”
