Having sold over 1000 marquees we thought it would be a good time to introduce some of the UK Tents team. We have a fun group of people that are dedicated to provide the best products and service. Lets see the people behind the UKs leading party tent supplier.
Howard
Hi, my name is Howard and my role within UK tents is doing sales and administration. I have been working for UK tents from the very beginning when they opened last year.
In 10 years’, time I believe that UK tents will be the Uk’s largest supplier for marquees, storage, and industrial tents. Something that motivates me a lot at work is being part of such a great and hardworking team who are all so passionate about their jobs. My favourite thing about my job is that despite being 58, I look the youngest out of the whole team.
A random fact about me is that I love sports, in particular swimming, cycling, and running (Howard has a Iron man tatoo and has completed 3 Iron man competitions in a row!) I also love to cook, and I am addicted to applying to tv quiz shows.
Paul
Hello, my name is Paul and my role within UK tents is to help organise the team as well as maintaining the assets. In 10 years’, time I believe that UK tents will be a worldwide business and I will be running the southern hemisphere side.
My favourite thing about my job Is the people that I work alongside as well as the different people that I meet. I also love learning new things and watching the company grow and expand becoming more and more successful.
A factor that drive me the most at work is knowing that I am helping people to have their ideal event or party within one of our marquees or tents.
A random fact about me Is that I am a twin and something that I am very passionate about is moving the company forwards in order for it to grow as much as possible and I am even willing to go to the moon of they want a marquee or tent up there. As you can see from my picture below I burn easily!
Jade
Hello, my name is Jade, and I am the head of accounts within UK tents. In 10 years’, time I believe that UK tents will be the leading in the UK market and perhaps we will have began expanding into different areas within the UK.
One of my many favourite things about working here is that everyday is different to the last and you can never predict what is going to happen or what the next order is going to be.
Knowing that everyday we are getting closer to all the different aims and goals we have created keeps me incredibly motivated within the workspace as I know that when we reach them, we as a team will feel extremely successful and accomplished.
A fun fact about me is that when I was younger, I represented England in equestrian.
Josh
Hello my name is josh and my position within UK tents is sales advisor. Ive been working with UK tents for only around 4 weeks but I am loving every minute.
Based on the industry at the ooment, the current competition aswell as how fast we are growing and improving together as a team and company, id see us being the biggest marquee firm in the country in 10 years or less. My favourite thing about the job is feeling comradery when working within our teams.
Learning new things and expanding my knowledge on the daily basis really motivates me whilst I am at work as I know that the more, we progress as a business the more new things I will learn and retain which will not only benefit me and my knowledge within this market but help the business to expand and reach our different aims and objectives in the future.
A random fact about myself would be when I was 15 I got knocked out by a professional boxer in my first sparring session.
Outside of the workplace I love playing golf, boxing and most importantly spending as much time as I can with my son Theo. He starts school in September so I need to make the most of every minute with him.
Daniel
Hello, my name is Daniel, and I am the director of UK tents.
I believe that in 10 years UK tents would have massively expanded, grown and created itself an outstanding reputation within the UK. I also expect that we will be the number 1 UK destination for people who need outdoor products such as marquees and industrial tents.
One of my favourite things about my job is that I get to meet and speak to so many interesting people everyday and help them to create all sorts of different things such as small family events or parties, to big companies asking us for marquees to host big business events or parties.
Something that motivates me when working at UK tents is completing difficult and time-consuming projects and seeing the end result and how much happiness we have brought to people with our products.
A fun fact about me is that in 2014 I was in the British tv series ‘The apprentice’ wow can’t belive it was that long ago.
