As you will see from our web pages, we sell a large range of Marquees and an ever-expanding selection of accessories, so I’ve taken a little look through our fastest selling items and thought I’d share the tents that have proven to be our most popular items and some of the reasons why they have been flying off the shelves as well as our top accessory. Almost a pop picking top ten(ish) but without the chart run down and cheesy disc jockey voice (because after all, we think all our products are number one).

In size order then…

3 X 6 PE Marquee

A popular compact marquee, often bought for garden use, small gatherings or as a temporary additional porch to the entrance of a building.

Comes in only three boxes and when not in use is, of course, very compact for storage (especially when used with our made to fit storage bags).

4 X 6 Professional PVC Marquee

A real value for money luxury marquee often found adjacent to pubs, restaurants and in golf clubs where frequent use is expected. Extends the available cover capacity of hospitality venues as well as providing private function space for smaller parties.

4 x 6 Economy PVC Marquee

A lighter and lower cost option of the same size marquee as the above, ideal for occasional use, the typical suburban garden can easily support one of these tents whilst still leaving plenty of room around it for easy access.

4 X 10 Economy PVC Marquee

Its length makes it an idea choice for bench style or seating rectangular tables – in a post-covid world its even spacious enough for a bar at one end, maybe a small dance floor at the other?

With bench style seating capacity of seven it’s an ideal size for most wedding breakfasts.

5 X 10 Professional PVC Marquee

For the serious party planner. This marquee can be found in many a hotel green space as a function room for weddings, anniversaries or just about any celebration.

With the extra width, the space compared to the 4 x 10,  it is more flexible and easier to dress. The 2:1 ratio makes the internal space both impressive and welcoming.

Of course, like all our Professional grade marquees, it is rigid, easy to assemble and breakdown, robust (thanks to the additional ground bars) and fire retardant.

6 X 10 Professional PVC Marquee

In every aspect the same feature packed tent as its smaller sibling the 5 x 10 but with the extra width, making it even more suitable for larger gatherings or more sizeable furnishings.

8 X 20 Professional PVC Marquee

The big daddy of Marquees. Fire retardant, robust and large enough for functions of all sizes and configurations. Many a hotel use these for spacious and luxurious wedding receptions, sometimes married to one or more of our smaller marquees to provide “VIP areas” or indeed to house toilet facilities.

Its impressive size offers an artist like canvas to decorate and beautify and will grace any grand occasion. With flooring and carpeting added, along with decorative Marquee lining and ornate lighting solutions (all of course available from UK Tents), this magnificent structure can help turn a memorable day into a truly magical one.

Although of course we can still offer click and collect, because of its large size (its provided in 21 boxes of varying size and weight, the largest being in excess of 100kg) we would of course recommend you let us deliver it to you – kerbside delivery is economic and if you check out our previous article, you’ll see that we can often do so quicker than you would imagine.

Storm Protection Kits

Without a doubt our biggest seller in the accessories department is the storm protection kits – available in versions suitable for both soft ground, like lawns or soil, or hard standing you can enjoy the peace of mind of knowing your tent is better defended against the changeable British weather and especially high winds. The storm straps are ratcheted to ensure a firm and secure anchor.

Modular Flooring

Newly added to our expanded range, flooring has become a “must have” addition to recent tent purchases. Can be used on its own to help provide a more level, slip reduction surface or as a base for carpeting or other covering.

As the floor panels are of a modular clip together design its flexible and can be used in any tent in our range.

The panels are weatherproof and therefore also suitable to lay as a temporary path to the Marquee, helping to prevent potentially muddy shoes or the risk of slipping on wet grass. Visually, this finishing touch can make your event look more professional and leaves your guests with an impression that you have thought of every detail and care about their comfort and welfare.

Carry Bags

We hope your marquee will provide you with years of good service and use – we recognised early on that our customers would often only wish to have the marquee erected for specific purposes and then would need to break it down to store it away, ready for the next time – both our matching tarpaulin and pole bags ensure your tent is housed in the a fit for purpose set of bags, can be easily transported to different locations and will also of course give you peace of mind against mislaying any of the parts.
