Let’s start off this article with some some great news…. You can now buy water weights from UK Tents! We are always looking for ways to improve our product range and our latest product enables you to secure a marquee on a hard surface without drilling into the ground.

There is many ways to secure a marquee and we many methods you can to choose from. Let me talk you through all the possible options:

• Extra strong ground stakes – These are perfect for soft ground and the easiest to install. Even if the weather looks fine we always recommend our marquee ground stakes.
• We have two storm protection kit options, one for hard ground and another for soft ground:

• Water weights – Our latest product was suggested by a customer called Scott from London. We encourage feedback and especially product suggestions. Scott wanted a solution to hold down his 4×6 premium marquee without having to drill holes in his patio.

Hi UK Tents I am looking for a weight solution to secure my marquee and I can’t buy a storm protection kit as it will ruin my decking. I looked into sand bags but I think it would be too messy and the sand would go everywhere. Can you help me find the answer? Thanks, Scott

Water Containers – All You Need To Know

Our 25-litre water container packages are a cost-effect way to secure any marquee. They are made from 100% recycled high-density polypropylene (HDPE) to help reduce environmental impact, as well as being robust and impact resistant. Each water container comes with a ratchet strap to secure the weight to the marquee legs. This is a great option if you want to secure your marquee to a hard surface without drilling into the ground.

How to use:

• Fill the water container with 25 litres of liquid and screw the lid.
• Use the ratchet strap to hold the water container tight to the marquee legs.
• We recommend a minimum of two stackable water containers per leg.
